Optinet is part of the National Eyecare Group, established in 1983. Launched in 1987, Optinet software was setup to provide a computer based letter printing service to National Eyecare Group members.
Optinet Ltd. has been developing software packages for more than 25 years and has a breadth of experience within the independent optical sector.
This first database system was developed to store patient records and generate reminder data, the data was sent to Optinet on a floppy disc for mail merging with clients own letter headed paper to produce high quality laser printed reminders. The core product was then developed to include contact lens and spectacle orders.
Our development will continue to deliver successful products for opticians all over the UK.
