HR Manager Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Manager to oversee a broad range of HR administration functions. In addition to managing tasks such as holiday planning, inductions, personnel folder maintenance, and disciplinary matters, the role will include responsibilities such as employee 1-2-1 scheduling, social activity planning, contract of employment reviews, and annual documentation reviews with HR legislation advisors.

HR Manager Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

  • Coordinating and managing employee leave requests to ensure smooth scheduling and maintain adequate coverage
  • Planning and facilitating induction programmes, integrating new employees into our company culture and processes
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date personnel records in compliance with data protection and confidentiality policies
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for the escalation and resolution of disciplinary issues, adhering to established company policies and procedures
  • Facilitating one-on-one sessions between employees and management to address concerns, provide support, and foster professional development
  • Organising and coordinating social activities to promote team building and a positive workplace culture
  • Collaborating with HR legislation advisors to conduct annual documentation reviews, ensuring alignment with legal standards

HR Manager Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous but not essential
  • CIPD qualifications in HR related fields is also preferred but not essential

HR Manager Skills and Competencies

  • Proven experience in HR administration roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of day-to-day operations
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
